That's no Moon!

Speaking about Star Wars: The Old Republic Activision Blizzard's CEO Bobby Kotick has questioned whether BioWare's upcoming MMOG will make any money for publisher EA.

 - Dementia finally kicked in -

How can he say it when the game is called "WoW killer" and many of the Warcraft players already left and are eagerly awaiting Star Wars?

It's from the same company. How can it not work?

Well...

The problem is it's Star Wars. And just by writing those words you need to pay George Lucas. He basically owns everything Star Wars related. It's like he has a gravity pulse that draws money without him needing to do a thing.

- Sure. Make a Star Wars game. No problem. -

Kotick continues saying "Lucas is going to be the principal beneficiary of the success of Star Wars. We've been in business with Lucas for a long time and the economics will always accrue to the benefit of Lucas, so I don't really understand how the economics work for Electronic Arts."
